Swiss Made - The stronger we are anchored in Switzerland, the better

We are committed to Switzerland as a production location. Where possible, we source our raw ingredients, packaging materials and services in Switzerland. We deliberately avoid the use of preservatives, additives and colours and are keen to stress the naturalness of our products.
ISO / IFS certification - The stricter the certification, the better
Whatever it takes to foster customer and consumer trust in our product is welcome. And because safety fosters trust, we invite experts to check and certify our high standards of product quality and safety.
Rivella has been ISO 9001:2000-certified since 1993. We were also one of the first Swiss companies to subject ourselves to the stringent International Food Standard (IFS) certification process (2004). The IFS rules are much stricter than the statutory requirements, and so boost consumer confidence in the product.
At the end of 2005 we installed one of Europe's most advanced bottling plants. Based on the aseptic cold filling (ACF) principle, it offers us an ultra-sterile bottling environment that safeguards the quality of our natural products. Our newly devised hygiene concept ensures compliance with stringent hygiene, clothing and staff conduct requirements. Our production zones are categorised under a range of hygiene classifications. Our filling line, for instance, operates under clean room conditions comparable with those of hospital operating theatres.
